Wingwoman?
Is Goose obsolete?
I just found this article on nytimes.com. Apparently, you can now hire a woman in NYC, not to be your date, but to help you get dates. A wingwoman, if you will. I find this service to be uber sketchy, but it isn't too hard to understand why the service is so sucessful. The article is here.

Ah, now I see why you live in Wilson House. Plenty of friendly, outgoing, (and need I mention good-looking?) women with whom you can develop strong-yet-strictly-platonic friendships who can then accompany you to various places around town to help you pick up other women. Brilliant. And the best part is that the $50 an hour fee is covered in the outrageously low rent of 1626 Massachusetts Avenue. Nicely done, Dave.
p.s. Jane Eyre still rocks.
